This year for Christmas Eve we gathered at Pete and Julie's house for dinner. My dad made homemade Posole and we ordered four dozen green chile chicken and red chile pork tamales from our new favorite restaurant, Carlito's Burritos. Dinner was delicious!
Afterwards we headed home and got ready for our visit from Santa. The kids sat down with Charlie and wrote a quick note thanking Santa for visiting their house. They made a plate of cookies and of course a carrot for the reindeer and then off to bed they went.
Mommy and Daddy tried to do their best to stay up all night hoping to catch a glance of the man in the red suit. We passed the time wrapping present after present after present. Finally, come 4:00 am we were convinced he just wouldn't stop by unless we went to bed so off we went.
